About Don

Prior to 2016 Don was Programme Director at Deloitte University EMEA (DUE) and subsequently became an external facilitator at the university delivering all core manager programmes: Be a Manager and The Development Code. The second of which Don was also heavily involved in the design and roll out.

Before this Don was with Deloitte for 12 years as both a Business Development Director and Partner with the Russian firm. Throughout this time Don, informally and latterly formerly, had been asked to coach and train staff of all grades in relationship development, a role he loved, leading eventually to his time with DUE.

Don has been able to draw heavily on his past experiences, firstly as a bank cashier before joining the British Police, spending most of his 10 years as a detective within the Criminal Investigation Department (CID). He then set up his own business as a private investigator before joining Coopers and Lybrand, subsequently PwC, for 10 years. Whilst with PwC and Deloitte, Don spent several years working overseas, primarily in India, Russia, and Switzerland.

His love of training has always shone through, beginning with lots of one-to-one coaching which lead in turn to more formal training and classroom work.

The feedback on Don’s style and content has always been good but recently his participant feedback from DUE, to quote two current programme directors, has been “exceptional”.
